We booked a visit to Hattie Hut for my birthday, we was not disappointed.

The location is perfect for escaping the hussle and bussle of daily living,

No WIFI perfect – No checking phones for messages.

Very little phone signal for me, Perfect.

Just like the good old days where we didn’t have the distractions we have now, my god I’m starting to sound like an old man 🤦‍♂️

The Hut is a short walk from the cliffs & Coastline with stunning views looking out to the Isle of Lundy.

Sunsets were amazing from the Hut and behind from the road.

The whole site is extremely quiet at night, During the daytime it was good to hear families enjoying themselves, without the distractions of modern life.

The bedroom in Hattie Hut was fantastic, A nice soft king size bed, for a great night’s sleep.

Toilets and showers were excellent, 👌

The owner Bridget is on another level, Extremely welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much for Bridget, made me feel extra special as she had decked up the hut for my birthday.

I would definitely recommend this place, and hope to visit again.

This is clean , friendly , the owners are brilliant , and helpful . The showers and toilets are kept clean and tidy . Where you wash up is kept really tidy , the site is clean and free of any rubbish , the pitches are a great size and the view from the wall of the sun going down is amazing, it is the safest cleanest friendly site I have been to , loved our time there

What a site! Amazing from booking, excellent communication from Bridget, on arrival was greeted very well and kindly. No issues with payment or anything. Site is immaculate, toilets and showers spotless with underfloor heating. Little shop sells everything you need and is reasonably priced for a campsite. Pitch we chose had the most beautiful sunset and was level. Not too far from toilets and showers, kids play area was fantastic, safe and tidy. On site food vans during the summer selling pizza and all sorts of yummy things on different days, proper coffee and pastries some mornings too which was a luxury. On site kitchen sinks spotless and freezers for ice packs. Honestly cant fault the site at all, well happy and will be booking again for sure.

Great communication before our arrival, greeted by a lovely, helpful lady when we got there. We got a pitch on a non EHU field. Great views, very peaceful apart from the noisy brat on the adjoining field using foul language all day, but that’s not the sites fault. Facilities are lovely and look fairly new, piping hot water in the showers. Laundry room especially useful and not badly priced either! Will definitely visit again!

Would recommend this campsite. Everything clean and amenities nearby. Will be staying here again. Lovely friendly owners who are very helpful.

What a fantastic campsite and what amazing owners! We stayed here for 7 nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. When we unexpectedly had to return for 6 nights, the owners offered to store our caravan in their shed. So sweet! When we came back, our caravan was back in its spot, complete with a power connection. We really enjoyed our stay here and can wholeheartedly recommend this campsite!

Managed to get booked in for the Whitsun Bank Holiday weekend, simple process filling in the form on their website, confirmation within hours, deposit paid, balance on arrival. Why can’t all sites be this easy??

On arrival there is a notice board giving name and which part of the site to use, in our case Middle Meadow. Destructions advising to pitch around the edge to allow kids to play in the middle. How refreshing to consider kids playing on holiday, superb.

We pitched after a long weary diversion laden journey, not noticing until the following morning the fantastic view up the coast as far as Croyde. Also the inland view with the mist in the valley beyond.

This is just the kind of site camping is all about, long may it succeed.

On site coffee van daily. Spud van one day, pizza cooking place at top of site serving delicious pizzas.

Facilties block superb, no queues, fastidiously clean.

Hesitant to say too much as want to get in again.

I stayed in Bay View in my campervan with my dog – a thoroughly nice campsite with basic but very clean facilities. Owners are very welcoming and friendly and were very helpful to me, a lone camper. Very nice area with amazing views and good country lane walks.

We visited for 3 nights in October and all my queries prior (and after) arrival were answered promptly. We stayed in Bay View Field on hard standing which is a small area but with its own toilets and kitchen area. Quiet and peaceful. We really appreciated our time here and the kindness and flexibility of the staff. Thank you.
