Hattie is sited in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty along the North Devon Coast and set in her own private garden behind a small picket fence, with ample parking.
So, switch off and unwind as you make your way up the path and into your bolt hole. A few wooden steps welcome you to Hattie, with dimmable lighting you can set your own ambience.
Our special unique shepherds hut was designed and lovingly handcrafted by a friend, here on Westacott Farm, to an extremely high standard.
The super comfy king-sized bed feels like it’s in its own room and all made up ready for your arrival together with soft, fluffy towels.
The kitchen area is well equipped with a breakfast bar & chairs, Belfast sink, double ceramic hob, under-counter fridge, stove top kettle, toaster & Ninja air fryer. Plenty of pots, pans and crockery, cutlery, glasses and utensils, plus complimentary tea, coffee, sugar, milk, biscuits, chocolates and a bottle of wine in the fridge to welcome you!
There is a cosy two-seater sofa in the snug area, a wood burner for those chilly nights with logs & lightings underneath, plus more in the outside storage unit. A moveable smart TV, books & games are included.
Just a few steps away, back down the path takes you through the gate on your left to the luxury walk-in shower & toilet facilities which you share with a few people on our already established campsite at Westacott Farm.
Outside there is a small garden to enjoy at any time of the day or night. You could be having breakfast by the bench in the morning sun, the midday sun could find you having lunch in another area of the garden and when the sun goes down there is the fire pit to toast marshmallows by, or have that cool glass of wine and star gaze. Don’t forget just a 30 second walk can give you the most beautiful sunset – a different one every night…
Hiding in the storage cupboard is a BBQ & tools, two reclining garden chairs, logs & charcoal.
We have a no smoking policy in Hattie Hut and we don’t accept pets. Shepherd’s Hut £80 per night, minimum 2 night stay, maximum of 2 people. Open from Easter.
Check in is from 3pm and check out time is 11am.
